We are a group of students at Macquarie University studying ISYS 100. Just to clarify, we do not sponsor the millitant group known as ISIS, and if you clicked on our Blog to see some of their interesting video where they study in detail the human anatomy, you'll be sadly disappointed. I hope you enjoy our blog, and if you enjoy what we write then follow us.

Our elite team of bloggers (I'm kidding, most of us are completely incapable of tying our own shoelaces, let alone being able to read and write) include:

  4. Manuel ( Works part time as a Spanish matador. He served 3 years in a Cuban prison for something involving a jar of mayonnaise and the Cuban government)
  5. Ken (Apparently, ken is an ex-police officer who was once assaulted by a man wielding a frozen bagel)

by Abir Grave of the fireflies is a Japanese animated film by the iconic Studio Ghibli. Some consider it, the greatest animated movie of all time. If you recon that Bambi was emotional as animation gets, Let me start my saying that grave of the fireflies is like depression distilled into 90 minutes. This film evokes emotion like no other and is known as a real tear jerker. Grave of the fireflies is based on Akiyuki Nosaka's semi-autobiographical novel of the same name. Megamind (2010) MEGAMIND Hey there good people! I’m feeling a little evil today. “Muahahaha!” That was my failed attempt at making you guys believe I’m evil. Today's movie will be based on my mood. Anyways, aren’t you guys always tired of speaking about the good, the good and the good? I mean come on bad matters to the world too, doesn’t it? The good and bad both make the world how it is and make the people who they are. Let’s face it, there’s no good without evil and there’s no fun in life without the “bad stuff”. *Wink*. To be a little more philosophical here, I think well the bad helps us in ways we can’t even imagine. Manuel's review: V for Vendetta

Movie review: V for Vendetta Ok so first of all, this movie is incredible. Imagine an action movie had a baby with a philosophical movie, and then this baby came out as the pinnacle of movie evolution. This baby then wins a beauty contest without even entering, and beats up chuck Norris for fun with one arm tied behind his back. To give a brief review of what happens, basically Evey Hamond is young woman forced to live with a crime fighting vigilante who calls himself V. This companionship revolutionised not only themselves, but the nation in which they live. In the movie, Hugo Weaving gives a stunning performance as V, a chivalrous yet sinister vigilante. Meanwhile, Natalie Portman portrays Evey, a broken individual who regains her integrity in a most unlikely manner. Now for the not so dark stuff.
