Manuel's review: V for Vendetta

Movie review: V for Vendetta Ok so first of all, this movie is incredible. Imagine an action movie had a baby with a philosophical movie, and then this baby came out as the pinnacle of movie evolution. This baby then wins a beauty contest without even entering, and beats up chuck Norris for fun with one arm tied behind his back. To give a brief review of what happens, basically Evey Hamond is young woman forced to live with a crime fighting vigilante who calls himself V. This companionship revolutionised not only themselves, but the nation in which they live. In the movie, Hugo Weaving gives a stunning performance as V, a chivalrous yet sinister vigilante. Meanwhile, Natalie Portman portrays Evey, a broken individual who regains her integrity in a most unlikely manner. Now for the not so dark stuff.
